I was so lucky that Lula found me, so now I have a very young but amazing friend to sing with. Here is TOMORROW (Annie) with 6 voices of us. This is a spontaneous and unrehearsed collaboration, with a vocal arrangement made-on-the-spot 😇😌😏. Honestly, I was too tired to sing; let alone making any arrangement. But when I listened to Lula singing the melody, I was blown away. She gave me a boost of energy I needed to come up with a fresh vocal arrangement. This collaboration gave me tremendous joy. I have sung this song a hundred times in the last one year, mostly when I was walking over the Mooney's Bay, a beautiful park/beach near my house (see photos in the a cappella music video I made over a month ago — apology for the appearance of 16 of me). Hal-hal keseharian yang terlihat biasa itu, menurutku, sangatlah indah. Kicau burung, desir angin, birunya langit. Semua adalah sumber kebahagiaan yang sering membuatku haru. Titled "Sempurna" (meaning "perfection"), this is an Indonesian song originally written to describe the "perfection" originating from the true love(r). My friend Ujie (Pujiastuti @pujiastutisindhflute), who plays the flute so beautifully, and I here speak of the perfection in an abstraction. We see "sempurna" as being in a state of contentment; to accept that "all is well" even when things don't seem to go well. Enjoy. Antapani & Ottawa, Aug-Sep 2020.

OK, to be very honest, for some reasons I haven't been sketching or making any visual artwork in the last 10 months — except for making cards for friends — so, literally there's nothing to post here. But I have been making music videos with and for friends. So, bear with me, I'll be posting several videos within the next several weeks. Here is the first collaboration I did, with Fanny @fani15289012 my best friend and soulmate, back in March 2020. Fanny was one of the best gifts to my college years at ITB. Enjoy!
