Falling Maples captures the quiet grace of maple leaves suspended in autumn air—one close-up leaf anchoring the scene, while others drift gently around it. The painting is paired with my piano composition Autumn Waltz in D minor, a piece inspired by the rhythm and motion of falling leaves. Together, the visual and musical elements create a delicate waltz of shapes, colours, and motion, inviting the viewer to pause and feel the ephemeral beauty of autumn.
